Information for English speakers
We gladly welcome people who speak a language other than German to our church services and events.
Church Service
All Sunday services begin at 10:00 AM and take place in Männedorf, Bahnhofstrasse 24. The sermon is recorded and can be listened to or viewed here later. A separate program is provided for children and teenagers.
Translation
The main language spoken in our congregation is German. An online translation tool is available to anyone interested in translating the sermon during the church service. Please bring your smartphone and headphones with you.
Worship
During the church service we sing hymns of praise and worship in Swiss German and German but also in English.
Conversation
Several members of our church speak not only German but also English. If you ask, you’ll also find people who speak French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, or Turkish. And yes, it is permitted to speak in tongues here ?.

The vision and guiding principles are also available in English. The church leadership is, of course, available to answer any questions.

Together we are on a journey. If necessary, we will translate further information and documents into English. Fundamentally, however, we see ourselves as a church in a German-speaking country.
